Bhimpokhara Youth Club (BYC) has been helping its community since 2042 BS in many ways, from sanitation to building bridges.
BYC is registered as a nationwide NGO and currently works in five districts of Gandaki Province: Baglung, Parbat, Kaski, Tanahun and Lamjung. For decades it has helped build roads and suspension bridges and has run rural health, agriculture, farming and education projects, working with local governments, health workers and development partners.

Rural Health Improvement Project (RHIP) Scale-Up
Strengthens the local health system by working closely with local government. It promotes health-seeking behaviour and reduces stigma by educating, empowering and mobilizing communities and existing local groups. Focus areas: maternal and neonatal health, neglected tropical diseases, and disability.

One Community One Family
A three-year project to reduce violence against women and girls in Baglung communities where many men work abroad. It used a family-centred model in Bhimpokhara and Resha.

One Community One Family was a three-year project run by VSO Nepal and Bhimpokhara Youth Club in two high out-migration VDCs of Baglung. It worked with families to reduce violence against women and girls.
